My name is Laura Forero, and I am from Bogotá. I have been living in Madrid since 2018.

I graduated as a "Diseño con Énfasis en Comunicación" from the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. I completed two master's degrees in Madrid, Spain: one in "Diseño Editorial en Medios Impresos y Digitales" from the Istituto Europeo di Design, and another in "Motion Graphics y 3D" at Escuela Trazos in Madrid, Spain. I am passionate about illustration, editorial design, and animation, and I believe that good work practices are vital in these fields.

The elements that mainly motivate my work are the use of memory and storytelling as resources to connect with the user. This makes the message communication more approachable and easier to absorb. In May 2015, together with my best friend, we created a small design studio called "Lámpara Gráfica" where we worked for companies that were seeking advice on graphic design, from corporate identity to editorial and visual materials that connect with their purposes.
At the end of 2016, I started managing a personal project in parallel called "Alegoría." There, I am in charge of creating my own design objects that give merit to handmade things and symbolic value, always seeking the uniqueness and singularity of each one.
