Exploring authenticity through lines and strokes
Personal diaries serve as a valuable tool where individuals often capture their thoughts, feelings, ideas, and life experiences. These mirrors of the soul provide an open space for introspection and reflection, allowing anyone to be completely honest with themselves without fear of judgment.
"Diary of a Looro" is a personal project in which I decided to use the art of drawing not only to depict my day-to-day life but also to explore graphic and analog forms of expression. This small illustrated compilation was created day by day during the month of April 2018. The opportunity to capture my concerns, anxieties, and moments of happiness in a drawing served as motivation to continue over time.
Unfortunately, the project came to a halt before the end of the month due to the delicate health condition of my dog Lucas at that time, who has been one of my most significant sources of inspiration.
