Celebrating a century of literature
Casa del Libro, a symbol of literature in Spain, commemorates its centenary in 2023 with the captivating campaign "100 Años Leyendo Juntos". In collaboration with the creative team of APPLE TREE, a visual proposal has been brought to life, paying tribute to writers and their most emblematic works of the last hundred years.

The heart of this campaign beats in the Gran Vía in Madrid, where the first bookstore of the chain is located. Monthly, throughout this special year, a visual gem is revealed in the form of illustrated graphics. These pieces, distributed across various digital platforms and outdoor spaces, draw inspiration from iconic books of specific decades that have left an indelible mark on the lives of the Spanish. Each design not only reflects the work itself but also immerses itself in the distinctive graphic style of that era, incorporating elements and artistic treatments that masterfully illustrate the essence of each book.
Each monthly delivery of the graphics starts from four different concepts for each illustration based on the main theme of the book. These serve as a starting point for the sketch and generation of each piece.
Casa del Libro not only celebrates a centenary but also the timeless connection between readers and writers, between books and emotions. Join them on this journey through time, where each page read has brought them to this moment, "100 años leyendo juntos".
